  • Once the backup is complete, uninstall the original WhatsApp.
  • Now, install GB WhatsApp and register using your mobile number. Remember to use the number registered with your original WhatsApp.
  • You will get the option to restore your data to which you must select yes.
  • Once you have restored your data, you can start using the new and improved version.
  • Now for taking backup from the new version, you must head to settings.
  • Select ‘Chats’ and under that backup.
  • The backup process will start as you press the button.
  • After completion of the process, go to GB WhatsApp.
  • Press on ‘Agree and Continue’ to start with the proceedings.
  • The most important step here is ‘Copy WhatsApp Data’.
  • Next step is to enter your number which you registered earlier and allow it to verify.
  • Once the verification process is over, a restore option will pop up.
